Clothing
bank
We give clothing a new life, helping those in need.
Join us in helping
THE CLOTHING BANK WAS ESTABLISHED AS A PROJECT OF THE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION KLUB SVOBODNÝCH MATEK Z.S., WHICH HAS BEEN PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE TO SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES ACROSS THE CZECH REPUBLIC FOR SEVERAL YEARS.
Due to our long-term experience in providing material assistance to single-parent families, we decided to expand our help to all vulnerable social groups across the country. Thus, the Clothing Bank became independent and now operates as a separate non-profit organization.
We accept clothing from private and corporate donors. We then sort and compile the clothing into crisis packages.

How We Work
We accept clothing
We accept women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing donated by private and corporate donors.
We sort and compile
We sort by type and size. We compile into crisis packages that contain a complete set of clothing.
Distribution
The distribution of clothing to people in need is mainly carried out in cooperation with regional food banks and local non-profit organizations. Currently, we coperate with food banks in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, Karlovy Vary, Džbánsko, Central, South Bohemia, Olomouc, Pardubice, and Vysočina. Thanks to this system of help, people in need can receive comprehensive assistance in the form of food and clothing. We are honored that to this day we supply clothing to more than two hundred local non-profit organizations across the Czech Republic, and their number is continuously growing.
