On Friday, September 5, 2025, a round table organized by the Czech Federation of Furniture Banks and Reuse Centers (Reuse Federation) took place at the Old Town Hall in Havlíčkův Brod. The meeting was dedicated to promoting the reuse of textiles and other items in the Vysočina Region.
Our director Dana Pavlousková spoke on behalf of the Clothing Bank, presenting practical experiences and the role of the Clothing Bank in the field of textile reuse. Other speakers included the deputy mayor of Havlíčkův Brod, Marie Rothbauerová, the director of the Reuse Federation, Zuzana Kuberová, and Antonie M. Fendrych from SWAP STORE. Radim Trojan from Změna k lepšímu (Change for the Better) spoke on the topic of extended producer responsibility (EPR).
The Clothing Bank has long been committed to giving textiles a second life and making them a source of aid and sustainability. Participating in events like this gives us a chance to share our experiences and be part of the future development of reuse services.
