Thank you for your support in July: We received an impressive 6 812 kg of clothing!

July was a month in which the Clothing Bank once again demonstrated that solidarity and willingness to help have enormous power. During this month, we received an impressive 6 812 kg of clothing—thanks to you, our donors, partners, and volunteers.

A big thank you goes to all the companies, institutions, and individuals who participated in the collections. We would like to thank the following in particular: Jablonné v Podještědí – Světová škola project, POTEX, MESSER Technogas, Fashion for help, KPMG, AV MEDIA SYSTEMS, a.s., FILMOVÉ ATELIÉRY, PUMAX, VIGre, HUSKY, SAFRAN CABIN, DIVIZNA and, above all, JTI.

Thanks to our joint efforts, we provided 1 012 emergency packages with clothing weighing a total of 2 458 kg in July. We distributed the packages in cooperation with the following organizations: Salvation Army 71 pcs, Strakonice Municipal Office 2 pcs, Otevřené dveře Knížkovice 450 pcs, Prague 20 Municipal Office 1 pc, K srdci klíč 2 pcs, Domeček plný koleček 1 pc, Neposeda 2 pcs, Studénka Municipal Office 1 pc, Food Bank 482 packages. In addition, we prepared 33 individual crisis packages for individuals and families in need.

A huge thank you also goes to the July volunteers from Ataccama and Amazon, who enthusiastically joined in sorting and preparing clothing for further use. Without their dedication, it would not have been possible.

Thanks to this collective energy, we were able to send the donated clothing further—to those who truly need it. Single mothers, families in shelters, seniors, and homeless people.

We believe that every piece of clothing can get a second chance – and more importantly, that by doing so, we are also giving people a chance. Clothing is not just practical help. It restores dignity, keeps people warm, and helps them get back on their feet.

July was also a month of change for the Clothing Bank – you can now find us at our new address: Povltavská 5/74, Prague 7 – Troja (the yellow building next to the Jih II car park). We are open every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
