October was once again a month full of solidarity, help, and gratitude for us at the Clothing Bank. Thanks to the generosity of donors and cooperation with companies that have their hearts in the right place, we received a total of 16 863 kg of clothing.
A big thank you goes not only to individual donors, but also to CBRE, Amazon, PUMAX, SEYFOR, MEDICA filter, HUSKY, EOS – KSI, MESSER technogas, ORACLE, O2, SentinelOne, Sue Ryder, as well as the Prague Letňany district and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Thanks to this help, we were able to prepare and subsequently deliver 1,221 emergency packages. These packages reached the people who need them most through our partner organizations – Potravinová banka Džbánsko, Portimo, CSS Příbram, Otevřené dveře Knížkovice, Poradna pro občanství/občanská lidská práva, HC Srdce, Dobré místo, NEPOSEDA, Domov pro seniory Vejprty, Český červený kříž, Domov na Hrádku, BAOBAB, and the social departments of Prague 6 and Vejprty.
A big thank you also goes to our volunteers from BNP Paribas Cardif, ARVAL, AMAZON, Česká spořitelna, and SentinelOne, who helped us sort and prepare the clothing. Thanks to their dedication and willingness to help, we were able to accomplish much more.
And finally, a huge thank you goes to our general partner JTI, who has been supporting us for a long time and helping us change people’s lives for the better.
Every kilogram of clothing, every hour of volunteer work, and every partnership is of great importance to us. Thank you for being with us. 💙
