Just as the volume of aid provided by the Clothing Bank to people in difficult situations is expanding, so is the number of organizations we collaborate with. This brings us great joy, as together we can help more people.
This year, two tons of much-needed clothing have been sent to selected food banks, and more orders continue to come in.
What started as occasional collaboration with Dům Dobra, which provides free accommodation for mothers with children from Ukraine affected by the war, has become a regular partnership.
In recent days, we have also supplied several children’s homes in the South Moravian region with clothing. Due to high demand, we will gradually focus on children’s homes in other regions of the Czech Republic as well.
We are very pleased with our collaboration with the State Integration Program, which received its first packages for its clients with international protection from us.
The newest collaboration has been established with the Humanitarian Aid Foundation in Prague, which provides food, non-food, and counseling assistance. The foundation came to load up their vans with our clothing packages two days in a row and will return in a few days.
Additionally, there are many other organizations, shelters, social service centers, and others that regularly reach out to us for smaller quantities of packages or send their clients to us directly for help.
