The Clothing Bank is here for everyone; no human fate is indifferent to us. We also help people affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Since our opening in Troja, mothers with children from Ukraine have been visiting us, and they are incredibly grateful for every piece of clothing they receive.
At the end of February, we even welcomed a whole group of mothers who came to us through cooperation with the organization Mommies from Ukraine. We are quite hardened by many tough human stories, but when these women left, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
We continue our cooperation with the House of Goodness, which provides free accommodation for mothers with children from Ukraine and also collects and sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine. In their social media stories, we even recognized “our” T-shirts from Amazon, which they distribute in places like hospitals directly in Ukraine.
Amazon provides us with both material and financial support for our aid efforts. We are very glad to be helping together where it is needed the most.
We have also joined forces with other organizations that directly support people affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine and have established new collaborations with organizations that reached out to us for help. Noteworthy is the Humanitarian Aid Foundation Prague, which visited us twice in two days and fully loaded their vans with our packages. They mentioned they would be back soon 🙂
Since the beginning of this year, we have distributed nearly 2 tons of material aid to people affected by the war in Ukraine.
Thank you for helping us make a difference together!
