The Clothing Bank has expanded its network with another important aid location. After several months of preparation, the Karlovy Vary Textile Center opened in Karlovy Vary, the first regional center of its kind in the Karlovy Vary Region. Its goal is to give used clothing a second chance while supporting families and individuals who find themselves in difficult life situations.
The new center serves as a collection and sorting point for textiles. People can bring in gently used clothing they no longer need. Every donated item is then carefully sorted and inspected. Clothing suitable for further use helps those in need in the region, while other textiles are sent for further processing or recycling.
The center is located at Závodu míru 500/100 in Karlovy Vary – Stará Role and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The opening of the Karlovy Vary Textile Center represents another step in the development of regional aid and circular textile management. Thanks to public support, donated clothing can find new uses and help where it is truly needed.
We thank all donors, partners, and supporters who contributed to the creation of this project and are helping us build a support system that makes a lasting difference.
