On Friday, our doors were constantly swinging as we hosted an all-day Christmas party, during which we handed out Christmas gifts to more than fifty single mothers in Prague. These gifts were eagerly awaited by their children. We extend a huge thank you to all the donors who helped us secure these gifts, with special thanks to the team from Nestlé, who assisted us on-site, and together we soaked up the pre-Christmas atmosphere.
Our Christmas aid program this year far exceeded all expectations, and we managed to secure a total of 744 Christmas gifts for children from single-parent families who needed this help. The total amount spent on Christmas gifts reached 997,000 CZK. Since November, we have been collecting information from children about what they wished for under the Christmas tree this year, and for several weeks we worked to make their wishes come true. We succeeded, and now Christmas can begin!
