For the Clothing Bank, May was once again proof of the power of solidarity, cooperation and willingness to help people in need. During this month, we received an impressive 4,030 kg of clothing that will find a new use where it is needed most.
A big thank you to all the individuals, companies and institutions that contributed to the collections. Our heartfelt thanks go to Prague Airport, McKinsey, CBRE – Kavčí Hory and Karlín buildings, PUMAX, the municipality of Drahelčice, Saint Gobain and especially JTI, without whom our daily work would not be possible. We would also like to thank all the volunteers who joined our daily work.
A huge thank you also goes to the BigBoard Foundation, which provided us with billboard space and helped us spread awareness of our mission among the general public. Thanks to this support, more help and new donors are reaching us.
The aid we sent out went to organizations and institutions that distributed it to the most needy – Portimo o.p.s., the Office of Strakonice, the Office of Votice, Člověk v tísni Rakovník, the Children’s Home Kunštát, Dobré místo z.s., and also to food banks in Džbánsko and Ústí.
