The result is over 1.5 tons of clothing. This is an impressive amount of clothing that the employees of the Office of the Government and eight ministries decided to donate for a good cause.
This was one of our largest material aid collections this year. We lost count of how many times a fully loaded van with clothing turned around at our place.
“I am glad that we managed to build on the very successful collection we organized last November for Giving Tuesday. This time, the employees of the Office of the Government contributed around one hundred kilograms of various clothing items for those in need. It’s great that colleagues from the ministries also participated, which means that help will reach more families,” said Jana Kotalíková, Head of the Office of the Government.
We greatly appreciate this significant help, with special thanks to the Office of the Government, under whose leadership the collection took place. We thank all the ministries that decided to participate and provided support for the collection – the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Transport. And most importantly, we thank all the employees who participated and donated their clothing.
